Lets talk Zouk!
Brazilian Zouk is a brazilian couple dance that is now danced worldwide. It developed from Lambada and is nowadays danced to a variety of genres like Reggaeton, Hip Hop, Pop, etc. The magic of this dance roots in his unique way of connecting with your partner while allowing freedom for self expression like no other couple dance does. It is well known for their flowy, dynamic and passionate movements, that can be influenced from various dance styles you may danced before. You can find Zouk events and regular classes all over the world.
The Story behind OZS
The Online Zouk School started 2021, when we all had to stay home and there were no way of learning or teaching brazilian Zouk in person. We had the idea to share our knowledge for free on youtube, to continue helping the students to learn and to spread our love for Zouk. We were super grateful for the support this project received and we gained students from all over the world. Once we had our community, we wanted to grow the project and offer full courses, in high quality.This way, everybody can keep improving in the comfort of their homes with our continuous free content, or dive in deep into a specific topic by purchasing a full course.
Our mission
Our mission for the Online Zouk School is to offer students a way of learning and improving, even if they do not have access to regular classes or they prefer learning by themselves. We also wanted to offer courses, that allow dancers to learn a specific skill and dive in deep in certain topics. With our courses we also focus on showing excercises to do solo, how to lead and follow comfortable and safe and how to take care of your body through fitness and flexibility training. It is amazing how we can reach dancers worldwide and can connect all over the world. Thank you!
